I help organisations close the gap between what people know and what they do.
My name is Esther Duncan, and Magnus & Maeve is my learning design practice. Based in Montréal, I specialize in designing bespoke digital learning solutions for organizations navigating complex challenges: from large-scale change management initiatives to startup acceleration projects.
With a human-centric agenda, I focus on the strategic use of technology to facilitate learning and enablement. I hold Master's degrees in both Educational Technology and Information Science, along with formal training in project management, UXD, and design thinking. These credentials, combined with 15+ years of hands-on experience, enable me to translate strategy into outcomes by creating compelling educational experiences that resonate with a wide range of learners, be they employees, leadership, stakeholders, or customers.

Learning Strategy & Gap Analysis
Effective learning starts with the right strategy.
I work with you to understand your organizational goals, identify the gap between current and desired performance, and determine whether and how learning can close it. The result is a strategic roadmap that connects your learning investments directly to outcomes that matter.
eLearning Design & Development
Great learning experiences don’t happen by accident.
I design bespoke digital learning solutions grounded in a deep understanding of your learners, their context, and the ecosystem in which learning needs to occur. From microlearning to comprehensive blended programs, every solution is crafted with accessibility, modality, and real-world application in mind, so that what people learn translates into what they do.
Learning Project Management
Complex learning initiatives demand more than schedules and status updates.
As a PMP-certified project manager, I bring structure and strategic clarity to your most ambitious learning projects, leading production teams that are fully aligned on how every role contributes to delivering value. The result is a team that doesn’t just execute. It cares.
